(AhlulBayt News Agency) - ISIS on Tuesday claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing at a wedding in the Kurdish city of Hasakah in northern Syria that killed more than 25 people.
In a statement, ISIS identified Monday night’s bomber and disclosed that the attacker opened fire on the guests before detonating his explosives vest.
“Abu Barai al-Ansari opened fire on the attendants at the party before he blew himself up, “ said the statement posed on ISIS social media accounts.
SANA reports that thirty civilians were killed on Monday and 90 others were wounded in the incident.
